Using human rights indicators in the Maltese context

PHROM’s capacity building workshop aims to give an insight about the use of human rights indicators and how Maltese civil society could strengthen its advocacy work by the introduction of some targeted indicators in the different human rights fields.

In the first part of the session, our guest lecturer, Dr. Jonas Grimheden, Senior Policy Manager, Freedoms and Justice Department, European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, will focus on three issues:

  1. What are human rights indicators?
  2. What are their benefits and limitations?
  3. What are the examples of their application in the international, European and national contexts?

The second part of the session will be organised around discussing the adaptation and application of human rights indicators in the Maltese context.

Please, let us know by Friday, 22 June 2018 if you wish to attend by sending an email to projects@humanrightsplatform.org.mt

This is being organised in the project Malta Human Rights Indicators, with the support of the Malta Community Chest Fund.
